Concept
ROUSER
The six-pillar practice layer of transpersonal leadership.
ROUSER is a leadership framework by Luis Miguel Gallardo built on six pillars — Relations, Openness, Understanding, Self-Awareness, Empowerment, Reflection — that together turn conscious leadership into a daily practice.
In depth
Where most leadership models describe traits, ROUSER prescribes practices. Each pillar is a rehearsable capacity — from tending the relationships that carry us, to the reflection that keeps action aligned with core values. It is the practice layer that operationalises ICEF inside a person or an organisation, and the self-rating instrument on lmgallardo.org/rouser scores each pillar 1–10.
Origin: Developed by Luis Miguel Gallardo across two decades of executive coaching and formalised in Brands & Rousers and The Transpersonal Leader.
The six pillars
R — Relations
Build bonds of trust, respect and mutual support.
O — Openness
Cultivate transparency, inclusion and an open mind.
U — Understanding
Grow empathy and emotional intelligence.
S — Self-Awareness
Know yourself with honesty and coherence.
E — Empowerment
Take ownership, choose, and act with confidence.
R — Reflection
Continuous self-assessment, mindfulness and alignment with core values.
How it connects
ROUSER is the practice layer of the Transpersonal Leader framework. It maps naturally onto ICEF's dimensions and provides the discipline that lets Shadow → Gift → Essence transformations stabilise.
