Siwa Oasis — Shali fortress, palm groves and turquoise salt lake

The Invitation

There are places that give answers. Siwa is not one of them. It returns you to your question.

Two and a half thousand years ago, Alexander the Great crossed hundreds of kilometres of open desert to consult the Oracle of Amun. He came with armies, with empire, with everything power could give a man — and he came still searching for a single sentence: who am I, really?

You are not Alexander. But the question is the same. The desert teaches. The salt lakes remember. The Oracle has not gone silent. It has only changed languages.

The Place

A geography below sea level.

Nineteen metres below the surrounding desert. Two hundred natural springs. Salt lakes the colour of polished turquoise. Date palms shading the same wells since the time of the pharaohs. A community of ~25,000 Siwi Berbers (Amazigh) organised into eleven tribal families — named in May 2026 the World Happiness Foundation's first Oasis of Happiness.

The Journey

The arc, day by day.

Two lengths, one arc: arrival · ground · childhood · womb · interlife · oracle · integration. The 7-night journey adds a council day with the Siwan elders and a passage to the Mountain of the Dead.

Day 1 · Night 1

Arrival · The First Silence

Group transfer from Cairo into the oasis. Settle into kershif lodgings — traditional homes built of salt and clay. Sunset opening circle in the palm grove. Intention-setting ritual under the first stars of the desert sky. The retreat begins not with information, but with silence wide enough to hear yourself in.

Day 2 · Night 2

The Place Receives You

Morning walk through Shali, the 13th-century mud-brick fortress. Encounter with the Eleven Families' governance. Midday float in Cleopatra's Spring. Evening: opening ITM teaching circle. The Shadow–Gift–Essence map. First contemplative listening to the Sister Songs cycle.

Day 3 · Night 3

Return to Origin · Childhood

Morning: guided group age regression to early childhood scenes where the foundational emotional imprints were configured. Somatic memory, parts dialogue, the first SGE mapping of personal material. Sunset: floating ceremony in one of Siwa's turquoise salt lakes. The body weightless. A first taste of the Essence beneath every shadow.

Day 4 · Night 4

Return to Origin · Womb & Birth

Morning: deep regression into prenatal and perinatal territory — contact with the somatic and emotional imprints held in the body from the very beginning of life. Working with the original wound beneath the defence. Afternoon free for solitary integration in the palm groves. Evening silent dinner under a tarp open to the stars.

Day 5 · Council (7-night)

Council of the Eleven Families · Mountain of the Dead

Morning: private encounter with Siwan elders. Teaching on belonging, conflict resolution, and the architecture of psychological safety that has held this community for centuries. Afternoon: passage to Gabal al-Mawta, the Mountain of the Dead, with its rock-cut tombs from the 26th Dynasty. Working with the ancestral field.

Day 5/6 ✦ The Interlife

Life Between Lives® · Group Passage

A full Newton-method group Life Between Lives® session, led by Luis Miguel Gallardo as Michael Newton Institute-certified facilitator: deep hypnotic transition through a past-life recall into the spiritual realm, encounter with the Council of Guides and the soul group, recognition of the incarnation's central purpose. Evening: extended Sister Songs ceremony — sixty-four mantras carried into the night.

Day 6/7 ✦ The Oracle

Where the Question Is Held · Integration

Pre-dawn pilgrimage to the Temple of Amun at Aghurmi. Each participant enters the inner sanctum alone, bearing the single question the week has uncovered. The Oracle does not answer in words. It answers in silence wide enough that your own answer becomes audible. Sunset: meditation atop a dune of the Great Sand Sea. Wheel of Happiness mapping. Closing ceremony.

Day 7/8 · Departure

Carrying It Home

Group transfer back to Cairo and onward. You leave with a written integration plan, a personal Shadow–Gift–Essence map, and the felt memory of Fundamental Peace as a known territory you can return to.

The Way

Four lineages, one passage.

I · Return to Origin

Age regression to childhood, prenatal & perinatal imprints, and a group Life Between Lives® journey — the complete arc of Luis Miguel's Return to Origin workshop series, deepened by the field of Siwa itself.

II · Shadow · Gift · Essence

The cartography of the psyche that maps each wound to its hidden gift, and each gift to the essence it serves. In the desert, the SGE map becomes visible in the body as quickly as it does in the mind.

III · Nine Paths to One

The contemplative novel and seven-album cycle that gives this work its mythic and musical scaffolding. The Sister Songs cycle accompanies the regression circles, salt-lake ceremonies, and desert nights.

IV · Fundamental Peace

The integrative horizon. Fundamental Peace is not the absence of pain — it is the transmutation of its energy into love and compassion. The retreat is designed so the first embodied contact with Fundamental Peace becomes a felt sense you carry home.

Investment

A pilgrimage, not a package.

Both journeys include the full retreat arc — group LBL®, all regression circles, the Oracle pilgrimage, ceremonies, all meals, ground transfer from Cairo, kershif lodging, and a personal integration kit. International flights and visas not included.

Practical Questions

Before you decide.

Do I need prior experience with hypnotherapy or regression?

No prior experience is required. The retreat is built as a complete passage from foundation to interlife. Both newcomers to inner work and seasoned practitioners (psychotherapists, coaches, hypnotherapists) find it deepens them. The arc is the teacher.

How is the group LBL® different from a private LBL® session?

The group LBL® is a guided collective journey through the same Newton-method architecture, designed for circle-form. Each participant has their own internal experience while held in shared field — the soul-group encounter often becomes more vivid in group containers. An optional private 1:1 extension is available for those who want a deeper personal session afterward.

Is this physically demanding? What's the climate like?

Cohorts run in cool seasons in the Western Desert (daytime 22–28 °C, nights cooler). The pace is contemplative, not athletic. Walks are short. The temple visit involves a moderate climb up Aghurmi rock.

Are there contraindications I should know about?

Active psychosis, untreated bipolar disorder, severe dissociative disorders, and recent acute trauma (within 6 months) are contraindications for deep regression work. If you are in active psychiatric treatment, please discuss with your clinician before applying.

The Threshold

If the question has found you, walk it.
