ICEF — Integrated Consciousness Evolution Framework
The measurement layer for human development, mapped across five dimensions.
ICEF (Integrated Consciousness Evolution Framework) is a five-dimensional model by Luis Miguel Gallardo that gives conscious development a measurable, teachable structure.
In depth
The five dimensions — Awareness, Shadow, Essence, Purpose and Compassion — are not stages but living muscles. Each is measurable (FP20, ROUSER self-rating, the ten transpersonal competencies), teachable, and mappable to classic maps of consciousness such as the Hawkins scale.
Origin: Formalised by Luis Miguel Gallardo in The Transpersonal Leader and iterated with the World Happiness Foundation and Shoolini University research chair.
The five dimensions
Awareness
The capacity to notice — inner state, other, and field.
Shadow
The disowned material that runs a life until it is met.
Essence
The signal beneath the noise — who you actually are.
Purpose
The direction that gives the other four coherence.
Compassion
The relational quality that makes the framework moral.
How it connects
ICEF is the measurement layer. Happytalism is the paradigm it serves; ROUSER is the practice it prescribes; Fundamental Peace is what its Awareness and Essence dimensions produce when they mature.

Frequently asked
How is ICEF measured?
Primary instruments include the FP20 (Fundamental Peace Scale, 20 items), the six-pillar ROUSER self-rating, and the ten transpersonal competencies from chapter 11 of The Transpersonal Leader.
How does ICEF relate to the Hawkins scale?
The /icef/calibration page maps each member's FP20 total to Hawkins bands (20–1000), giving a familiar language for consciousness calibration without collapsing ICEF into a single number.
