Concept
Happytalism
A post-capitalist operating system for human and planetary flourishing.
Happytalism is a paradigm — coined by Luis Miguel Gallardo — that places wellbeing, consciousness and planetary care at the centre of the economy, of leadership, and of daily life.
In depth
Where capitalism optimises for growth and socialism for redistribution, Happytalism optimises for the measurable flourishing of people, communities and the biosphere. It is a practical philosophy grounded in evidence from happiness studies, contemplative science and systems design, and it is taught freely through the World Happiness Foundation.
Origin: Coined by Luis Miguel Gallardo circa 2015 and articulated in the book Happytalism and the free online program of the same name run by the World Happiness Foundation.
Five pillars
Consciousness
Inner work as the foundation of any outer change.
Wellbeing
Measurable, multidimensional, and accessible to all.
Connection
Healthy relationships across people, place and planet.
Purpose
A life and a leadership rooted in meaning and service.
Regeneration
Economies, organisations and ecosystems designed to flourish.
How it connects
Happytalism is the outer paradigm. ICEF gives it a measurement scaffold, Fundamental Peace names its inner ground, and ROUSER is the leadership practice that carries it into organisations.
