In the practice of hypnotherapy, each session is a unique journey into the subconscious mind, where the unknown can unfold and bring clarity to life’s most puzzling patterns. Almira, a client who came to me seeking clarity and the ability to evolve into healthier personal relationships, exemplifies the deep transformation that is possible through the power of the subconscious. Her story is one of overcoming emotional barriers, discovering past-life patterns, and ultimately gaining the freedom to ask for what she deserves in relationships.

The Search for Clarity

Almira came to me with a very specific goal: clarity. She was not looking for a deep dive into healing old wounds, as she had already engaged in various therapeutic modalities, including plant medicines, psychology, and integrative medicine. Rather, she wanted to understand why she had never experienced a healthy, lasting romantic relationship. All her past partners, whether in this life or others, had either abandoned her, caused harm, or died. She felt trapped in a cycle and sought the clarity to move forward, to evolve, and to experiment with what it truly means to have a healthy personal relationship.

A Journey Through Childhood and Past Lives

As with every session, we approached Almira's story with openness, knowing that her subconscious mind would guide us to the areas that needed attention. Our work together began with a regression to her childhood, where she found herself gazing into a water mirror. Surrounded by butterflies and a clear blue sky, she danced and sang, feeling an overwhelming sense of freedom. This was the first glimpse of the lightness she had been searching for, a sense of joy she had long ago forgotten.

But as is often the case, the past was not far behind. The journey led us to a past life, where Almira found herself at the age of 20, bound to a wheelchair. She looked longingly at a beautiful garden, but the barrier of her condition prevented her from stepping into it. This pattern of self-imposed restriction, of not asking for help, became a familiar thread in Almira’s experiences. She quietly accepted her limitations rather than voicing her desires or needs.

The Power of Voice and Self-Expression

In our work, I use Gestalt dialogue to help my clients communicate with their inner selves and the people who shaped their lives. In Almira’s case, I invited her to ask for what she needed—something she had never fully allowed herself to do. In this past life, she silently wished for help but never vocalized it. When she asked for what she needed—when she voiced her desire for assistance—she felt a profound shift. For the first time, she experienced a moment of freedom.

This theme repeated in another past life, where she was just one year old. Her caretaker was distant and unresponsive to her needs. I invited Almira to speak up, to shout for what she needed, and when she did, she was heard. In another past life, she found herself with stepparents who ignored her cries for attention. Again, I guided her to demand what she deserved, and, this time, she was heard.

A Reflection on Her Marriage

In yet another past life, Almira was married. Her husband, however, did not listen to her. She longed for respect and her own space, but she never asked for it. This was another critical pattern: the inability to ask for what she was worth. I encouraged Almira to voice her needs and, when she did, her husband gave her everything she had wanted, without hesitation.

The pattern of not being heard, not feeling seen or valued, was evident across multiple lives and throughout her childhood. It was a deep-seated belief that kept her trapped in the shadows of her own story.

The Breakthrough Moment

As Almira approached the end of her life in her final past-life regression, she was invited to release her body and seek out her guides for clarity. She met with her higher self, and in a deep, reflective moment, she received a powerful revelation: "You did not dare to ask, living closed in your world." This was a turning point, as Almira began to understand the power of surrender and the importance of stepping outside of her narrow perspective.

As she connected with her higher self, Almira received the insight: "Look with different eyes. Get out of who you are. Make decisions as if you were another person." This was her breakthrough—a moment of profound understanding and clarity. The deep reflection allowed her to fully grasp the nature of her patterns and let go of the limiting beliefs that had kept her from experiencing the relationships she longed for.

The Meta Pets Revelation

In the post-hypnotic state, Almira was in a deep, reflective, and intense space. Hours later, she received a random Meta Pet card, which resonated deeply with the theme of the session—moving from victimization to revelation. It was a profound confirmation of her journey, encapsulating the transformation that had just taken place. She felt the lightness and freedom that had been unlocked.

To her surprise, a second Meta Pet card followed soon after. This one represented a shift from doubt to full freedom, exactly mirroring where she had begun her session. The first card was a summary of her hypnotherapy session, while the second was a reminder of what she had wanted and felt. The synchronicity was remarkable. Almira had moved from a state of limitation and confusion to one of clarity and freedom, both in her subconscious and in her waking life.

Conclusion: The Power of Asking

Almira’s story is a powerful reminder that healing does not always require deep, painful work. Sometimes, it’s about finding the courage to ask for what we need, to voice our desires, and to break free from the patterns that bind us. Through regression, Gestalt dialogue, and the wisdom of past lives, Almira uncovered the patterns that had kept her from experiencing the healthy relationships she desired.

In the end, her breakthrough was not just in understanding her past but in learning how to express her needs in the present. The Meta Pets cards served as a beautiful reflection of her transformation, a tangible reminder that asking for what we are worth is the key to freedom and fulfillment.

This success story is one of many that demonstrate the power of hypnotherapy in unlocking the subconscious mind and allowing for deep personal transformation.
